CLARISSA Explains It All fans are unlikely to recognise Jason Zimbler in this new photograph.
Jason is best known for playing Fergus Darling – aka Ferg Face – in the US teen sitcom, which starred Melissa Joan Hart as Clarissa.
But these days, Jason has turned his back on acting and is following a different career path.
He does, however, still have his foot slightly in the showbiz door.
According to Jason’s IMBD, he now works as a software designer for US television network HBO.
Jason keeps a low profile on social media, however he has been snapped with one fan who happened to bump into him and recognise him as Fergus.
The chap wrote on Instagram: “I am much taller than Jason Zimbler (Ferguson Darling!!).”
Clarissa Explains It All aired on Nickelodeon from 1991 until 1994 and has become a cult classic of the era.
Thefollowed the life of Clarissa as she navigated school, boys and her annoying little brother Ferguson.
Unusually, the character spoke directly to the cameras about her trials and tribulations.
Although Jason did not pursue a career as an actor, it did spring-board Melissa to fame.
She went on to bag the lead role in Sabrina The Teenage Witch, which also aired on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2003.
Melissa later starred opposite Joey Lawrence in the US series Melissa & Joey.
In 2018, there were rumours of a Clarissa Explains It All reboot, with talk of Melissa playing the lead character’s mum.
Series creator, Mitchell Kreigman, was also reportedly in talks to return as writer and executive producer. However nothing has ever materialised.
These days, Melissa is a busy mum to three sons and she is still acting.
She recently starred in the movie Would You Kill For Me: The Mary Bailey Story and also co-hosts a reviews podcast called What Women Binge.
